Tempers flared in court today after a teenager admitted murdering a schoolgirl whose stabbed body was found on a pathway.
There were shouts from the public gallery after Shea Heeley, 19, changed his plea to guilty at Sheffield Crown Court.
One man yelled out: 'Wait until the day you come out, I promise I will do the same to you.
'Wait until you walk out of jail - I will wait.'
Leonne
Weeks, 16, died of multiple stab wounds in January last year after her
body was found on a pathway in Dinnington, South Yorkshire.
The
college student's friends had told how she 'had gone to meet someone'
before her body was discovered by a member of the public down on the
isolated walkway.
Police confirmed that
Leonne and Heeley lived nearby to each other and knew each other
through mutual friends but the full circumstances of her murder have not
been disclosed.

Judge
Paul Watson, QC, today told Heeley the only suitable sentence would be
life imprisonment and that he would go to jail for a 'very long time
indeed.'
He said a 50 page psychiatric report had been produced which concluded that Heeley was fit to enter a plea.
'The conclusion is that there are no psychiatric diagnoses or disorders,' the judge revealed.
Heeley, of Dinnington, South Yorkshire, will be sentenced on March 5.
The
aunt of the murdered teen has today has told how her niece had gone out
with a friend to meet her Heeley on the night she disappeared.

Sarah Appley, 29, also confirmed Shea Heeley, 19, had written RIP on Leonne's Facebook page when news emerged of her death.
The
grief-stricken aunt said Heeley had even 'Liked' Facebook posts in
which Leonne's distraught mother, Paula Appley, appealed for her
16-year-old daughter to come home.
Speaking
from her terraced home in Dinnington, South Yorkshire today Sarah said
the murdered teen's family were still unclear about what happened.
However, she told how her niece had gone out with a friend to meet Heeley on the night she disappeared.
Heeley,
who pleaded guilty to Leonne's murder today, lived just a hundred
metres away from his tragic victim - on Doe Quarry Lane in Dinnington.
She said: 'She trusted Shea - he was meant to be her friend.
'With a life sentence Shea is looking at 25 years but he is still only 19 so he can start a life when he comes out again.
'No matter what happens he will not get what he deserves. Leonne was only 16 years old.
'She was an amazing girl - she would never hurt anybody ever in her life.
'Her parents Darran and Paula are both in a state - in absolute bits.'
Police have
confirmed that Leonne and Heeley lived nearby to each other and knew
each other through mutual friends but the full circumstances of her
murder have not been disclosed
