The remains of Tochukwu Odoh have
been deposited by policemen attached to Ijora Badia Police Station at the Apapa
General Hospital mortuary, Lagos State.
Police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide
who confirmed the death of Odoh, said another ghastly accident also occurred at
Ikotun area of Lagos State, where a commercial bus knocked down two
pedestrians, killing one and inflicting the second victims with life
threatening wounds.
She explained that on February, 7, 2014, at
about 8pm, there was a report at Ijora Badia Police Station that an
unregistered Honda motorcycle, ridden by one Tochukwu Odoh of Coast Street,
Ebute-Metta fell off the bridge into 7up Bottling Company Plc, Ijora premises.
The victim died on the spot and the corpse
deposited at Apapa General Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
Narrating how the second accident occurred
at Ikotun, Braide said: “On February 7, 2014 , there was a report at Ikotun
Police Station that at Wazobia Bus Stop Okerube, Ikotun, a commercial vehicle
with registration number, XT 793 EKY, driven by one 32-year-old Ikechukwu Kenneth,
hit two pedestrians later identified as Ezekiel Olaloye, 20-year-old and David
Olaloye, 18-year-old. Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital in Ikotun,
where one of them, Ezekiel Olaloye later died. The corpse has been moved to
Isolo General Hospital Mortuary for autopsy.”
