Customs arrest three Chinese, seize N20bn goods

Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has sealed over 20 warehouses and seized illegal textile materials worth over N20 billion in Kano.
The operation was coordinated by the Comptroller General of Customs (CGC), Muhammad Diko Inde.
The operation, the Deputy Controller of the Customs in charge of Anti-Smuggling Task Force, Hassan Shalangwu, said was undertaken strictly under the directives of the CGC, who had been monitoring movements of the smugglers who were mainly Chinese. At a stage, the CGC sent a team led by Shalangwu, who conducted undercover operation to locate and discover the actual number of illegal ware-houses in Kano State being operated by foreigners with the support of unpatriotic Nigerians.
