Police have dismissed 13 policemen, among them an Assistant
Superintendent of Police (ASP), Yuguda Abbah, for alleged kidnapping and
other criminal conducts.
Their offences ranged from “aiding and abetment” of rustling and
kidnapping in parts of the North, to supply of explosives to militants
in Lagos and Ogun states.
The dismissed policemen were paraded alongside 21 other suspects at
the Force Headquarters, Abuja. Apart from Abbah, other dismissed
personnel are former Sergeants Habila Sarki, Diphen Nimmyel, Yasan
Danda, Abbas Mailalle, Bwanason Tanko, and Donan James. Others are
