THE COMMITTEE OF HEADS OF SECURITY OF BANKS PAYS IGP COURTESY CALL

·         PLEDGE MORE SUPPORT TO IMPROVE POLICE SECURITY AT BANKS


The Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris NPM, received the committee of Heads of Security of Banks and Financial Institutions led by the chairman Mr. Chuks Maha who paid a courtesy visit on the IGP on 2nd November, 2016 at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.

2.      The Inspector General of Police appreciated the committee for the visit, he expressed deep gratitude on the cordial and good working relationship existing between the Nigeria Police Force and the committee. He further, implored the committee to continue to cooperate with the personnel of the Force in ensuring security and safety of Banks and other financial institutions across the country.
           
3.      In his remarks, the chairman of the committee Mr. Chuks Maha congratulated the IGP on his appointment as the 19th indigenous Inspector General of Police and lauded his efforts and the commitment in  reducing crimes in the country since his assumption of duty.
4.      In addition, he used the medium to inform the IGP that the committee will be meeting with him quarterly. He emphasised the need for the committee to sustain the cordial relationship with all the Zonal Assistant Inspector General of Police, Command Commissioners and Divisional Police officers with a view to enhancing their efficiency at securing their banks and other financial institutions that are part of the committee.
