Pandemonium as Police, ‘Agbekoya’ militants clash in Ibadan, one dead

There was pandemonium at the Ogbere Onilanta Police Station along Akanran in the One Ara Local Government Area of Ibadan, Oyo State Tuesday as some professional hunters, popularly called ‘Agbekoya militants’ had an encounter with the police over alleged check on their reckless driving.

Residents and passersby around the area at about 10.30 a.m were scampering in different directions as booming gunshots rent the air.
