A two-year-old boy was injured while his father was shot by officials
of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), over
motorcycle operators’ ticket’s squabble in Ogun State.
Witnesses claimed
that about 15 NSCDC officials carried out the attack on the
motorcyclists, leading to injury of the boy.
The operatives were said to have shot Sulaiman Ayinla, a commercial
motorcyclist in the arm and injured his son. The operatives were alleged
to have also stolen Ayinla’s N700,000, which was inside his car.
The money was said to be proceeds from a land he just sold. Trouble
started after a member of the Articulated Motorcycle and Riders
Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) on September 24, accosted a motorcyclist
at Itoko junction in Abeokuta, the state capital and asked for his
daily ticket.https://newtelegraphonline.com/nscdc-officials-shoot-cyclist-injure-two-year-old-son-steal-n700000/
