Judge’s Absence Forces Adjournment of Agbele, Fayose’s Ally Corruption Trial to Nov. 27

The trial of Abiodun Agbele, aide and confidant of Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, accused of diverting public funds to the tune of N1.2 billion from the Office of the National Security Adviser, ONSA, slated for today has been adjourned to November 27, 2017 following the absence of the trial judge, Justice Nnamdi Dimgba.
 
Justice Dimgba was said to be away to Kainji as part of the special sitting attending to the trial of Boko Haram suspects.
 
Agbele was arraigned on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on an 11-count charge of money laundering.
