Jonathan to visit Chibok Friday

Jonathan to visit Chibok Friday
More than one month after Boko Haram abducted almost 300 girls from Government Secondary School, Chibok, President Goodluck Jonathan is billed to visit the town Friday.
According to sources, the President will stop by at the town on his way to France for a security summit being hosted by the European nation.

The President has come under fire from the international community for the slow response of his government to the Chibok incident and other atrocities committed by the Boko Haram insurgents.
It was only three weeks after the girls had been abducted that the National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd) and other service chiefs made a whistle stop visit to the Borno town to see first-hand the scene of carnage left behind after the Boko Haram attack.
French President Francois Hollande had said last Monday that he would be hosting an African summit in Paris to include Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Benin to discuss the Chibok kidnap.
