POSTING OF A NEW COMMISSIONER OF POLICE TO AKWA IBOM STATE

 
The Inspector General of Police Ibrahim K. Idris has approved the posting of a new Commissioner of Police to Akwa Ibom State Police Command.
  He is CP MuazuZubairuHalilu, and takes over from CP Don Awunahfsi, Amnipr as the 22nd Commissioner of Police of the State Police Command
 CP MuazuZubairuHalilu holds a Bsc (Hons) degree in Botany from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Advance Diploma in Public Admin University of Abuja, a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy from University of Lagos and Masters degree in Policy and Strategic Management from International University of Bamenda, Cameroon.

He has served the Nigeria Police Force in various capacities, amongst which are Divisional Police Officer–Jimeta(Adamawa State), Head Anti-fraud Unit, Nigeria Police FCID Abuja, IGP Special Investigation Unit, Head of Operations, EFCC, Lagos, Deputy Commissioner of Police Special Fraud Unit FCID, Deputy Commissioner of Police Air Port Police Command Lagos, Commissioner of Police (Admin) Department of Finance and Admin Force Headquarters Abuja, Commissioner of Police, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Police Force Headquarters Abuja and lately Commissioner of Police, Niger State Police Command.
  He is happily married with children. The Commissioner of Police has assumed duty.
