Two men, John Bitto and Chibuzor
Obilo have been sentenced to prison for stealing items belonging to the Ikeja
Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC).
The convicts were sentenced to 22
and 26 years imprisonment respectively, for stealing three iron cranes worth N140,
000.
The verdict was given by the Ikeja Magistrate
Court on June 13, 2017. The iron cranes, property of Ikeja Electricity
Distribution Company, were stolen by a group of men, but as at the time of
arrest, only Bitto and Obilo were caught.
