CP orders police chiefs to flush out ‘Badoo’ killer group

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Owoseni, yesterday, instructed all his lieutenants to do everything within the ambit of the law to flush out the Badoo group known for ritual killings in Ikorodu area of the metropolis.

According to Owoseni, Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers should not treat the order with levity.
Speaking during an interactive session with his men and journalists, Owoseni said the police chiefs should deploy all resources within their disposal, to fish out the notorious killers.
Owoseni added: “There must not be any case of Badoo killing innocent people in Ikorodu anymore. We cannot afford to lose lives. Area Commanders and DPOs should work together and patrol communities at night with local vigilantes to chase the killers away. All DPOs in Ikorodu should pool resource together to fish out Badoo; he has been causing havoc in the community. I’m also giving you all 48 hours to decongest your cells. No suspect should be detained more than 48 hours. I will conduct check on the cells. The family that raised the alarm on weekend, leading to the killing of four land speculators at Adamo would be arrested and charged to court.”
