NSCDC Lagos State Command Convicts 12


The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command has convicted 12 persons for being in possession of illegal petroleum products.

The convicts are Johnson Gadu, Stanley Longlife, Daniel Kpoku, Emmanuel Okorobia, Felix Okuwanisola, Abbas Muhammed, Tola Kwami, Michael Dansu, Moses David, Jacob Apaloo, Senaya Edo and Sentol Sunday.

They were sentenced to 24 months respectively. Judgments for these cases were got on February 2, 2017, May 2, 2017 and May 16, 2017. The cases ran for a period of four to 24 months before judgment was given.

The NSCDC Lagos State, Commandant, Tajudeen A Balogun, commended efforts of the legal department for their doggedness and commitment to their duty, which ensured the conviction of the individuals.
He further stated that the Corps will not rest on its oars in curbing the activities of vandals and other criminal elements in the state.
