The Nasarawa Police Command Monday paraded a four-man gang of armed robbery suspects that robbed and killed the Principal of Federal Science and Technical College, Doma in an operation which took place on July 17, 2014, along Doma-Lafia Road.
Parading the suspects at the state Criminal Investigation Department,(CID) in Lafia, the state capital, the Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ismail Numan, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, said the suspects were arrested following a tip off at about 1030hrs.
The PPRO disclosed that one Usman Musa, a member of the gang was arrested at New Era hospital while receiving treatment for bullet wounds, which subsequently enabled other suspects, Yakubu Ogi and Sadiq and Agabi Daniel be arrested.
He said that all the suspects have confessed to committing the crime, even as he disclosed that a locally made pistol was recovered from them.
Numan said that investigation was on-going as efforts were being made to arrest the remaining fleeing gang members.
