Police recover fake 200 million dollars from fraudsters

The police in Lagos State have arrested four men in possession of 200 million dollars fake currency.

 Detectives attached to the Area 'B' Apapa Command were said to have arrested the suspects in their shrine at Ajeromi Community, off Railway line, Badia, Ijora.

The policemen also recovered charms and amulets from them.

The fraudsters met their waterloo after one of their victims, dashed to the police and revealed how he was swindled of a huge sum of money, plus his smart phones.

A police corporal, attached to the area B, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, explained that immediately the victim reported the matter, Area 'B' Commander, ACP Innocent Ndubueze Anene, mapped out a strategy in which the suspects would be rounded up in their den.

The source added that the victim was duped on Sunday while police began to trail the suspects the next day.

According to the police source, investigations revealed that the fraudsters had allegedly duped several unsuspecting Nigerians.
