Between Tinubu and Army, who is lying?

*In this age of social media, there should be pictorial evidence

The military authorities on Monday described as a rumour allegation that combat ready soldiers were amassing at the Bourdillion home of the leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division, Major General Tamubomiebi Dibi said that there was nothing like that, adding that it was all a rouse.
He said that soldiers on the Lagos State Security initiative the OP Mesa and Quick Response Group (QRG) have always been on patrol in the Ikoyi and Victoria Island area but no soldier or soldiers were deployed specifically to keep surveillance on the APC leader.
General Dibi asked: “Why should we deploy soldiers to monitor the Senator Tinubu, there was no need for it as he had not done anything wrong.”
He said that the relative peace being enjoyed by Lagosians were due to the patrols being conducted by operatives of the military attached to the QRG and OP Mesa, but emphasised that soldiers were not deployed to take over, surround or mount surveillance on Tinubu’s home.
The Assistant Director Army Public Relations of 81 Division, Colonel Mustapha Anka also denied knowledge of any such incident.
Colonel Anka explained that when he heard the rumour, he had quickly conducted intelligence to understand the true situation adding that, “an officer was sent to Bourdillion to get details of the situation and he came back to say that he could not find any soldier in the area but pockets of policemen apparently deployed to the resident of the APC leader.”
The dire question now is who between Tinubu and the army is lying?
According to the reports, over 30 or 50 soldiers had been in front of Tinubu's home in Ikoyi for three straight days. There were press releases from his camp to condemn  this action, but nobody in those three days could muster enough strength or sense to take pictures of these soldiers for three days. I'm a bit confuse here, especially in these days of smart phones and social media craze.
I don't know what's going on!
Politicians can lie to win sentiment, especially in this era of campaign and the army can lie to cover up or stop the mouth lashes.
We sent a reporter there and he came back with nothing. He said he saw only Rapid Response Squad(RRS) men who are indirectly under Tinubu's government anyway.
So what the heck is going on?
