Brothers attack mother’s lover with bottle

Two brothers have attacked and attempted to murder the young man whom they discovered had been sleeping with their widowed mother.

The men, identified as Joseph and Mark, had pretended they were travelling out of Lagos State after someone told them of their mother’s lover.
When the man arrived, the brothers pounced on him. The brothers said the man was a gigolo and a gold digger.

The woman identified as Mama Joseph was said to be dating a man almost as old as her first son, Joseph.
The gigolo, Maurice usually comes to the house situated at Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island to have visited the widow.
It was learned that some of Joseph's friends told him about his mother’s escapades. Joseph and his kid brother, Mark decided to teach Maurice a lesson he would never forget in a hurry.
A friend to the family said: "The widow's sons visited their mother from their houses near Eko Hotel because their late father built so many houses in Lagos before he died. On that fateful Sunday, the men who came to visit, stayed a while and later said they were leaving. They promised to see her the following day. Barely an hour after the men left, Maurice came to the house. The men returned to the house, telling their shocked mum that they forgot something in the house. They moved from the sitting room to the mother's living room where they saw the man without shirt, lying on the bed. They attacked him. Mark used bottle to break Maurice’s head. Their mother screamed, calling the security guard to intervene. The children warned the man never to step foot into their residence again or talk to their mother. The woman rushed Maurice to the hospital in one of her cars, right in presence of her two sons.”
