The night was unbelievable hot in Omege Village, Effium Community in Ohaukwu Local Government Area that fateful day of March 1, 2016. The heat was unbearable and Kenneth Nweke was stifling inside his apartment.

He couldn’t sleep because of the sweltering weather. He decided to step out, to get some fresh air. He would live to regret that decision for the rest of his life. Nweke lay on a mat and was already beginning to relax as breeze cools his body.
Suddenly, someone grabbed him from behind. The person was apparently too powerful for Nweke; although Nweke struggled with his unseen assailant, he couldn’t budge the person.
