Motorcycle riders operating in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of
Ogun State have kicked against the N500 imposed on them by their union.
The motorcyclists at Mowe, Ibafo, Owode, Asese and Magboro gathered in
their various communities on Lagos- Ibadan Expressway recently to
register their grievances.
Two persons were injured when the protest snowballed into a
free-forall. One of them sustained deep cuts in his head and jaw, while
the other sustained injury in his mouth. Residents were stranded as a
result of the protest of the riders.
