Hundreds of candidates in the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) yesterday marched on the Lagos State House of Assembly to protest ‘irregularities’ in the examination.

The protesters, who carried placards with various inscriptions such as: “Dibu must go,” “We don’t want 40 marks but our full scores,” “JAMB must be probed,” among others, said their experience in the ongoing examination was frustrating. One of the affected candidates, Ayeni Temitope, who sat for the examination at Bachel Academy, Ogba, said her system went off many times during the examination but that she managed to complete the examination.
She said: “On the night of the day of my exam, Monday, March 7, I received a text message saying my result was 246 but when I went to print the result online, the message was that I have no result.
