Sexual harassment: Panel arrives Queen’s College Wednesday

Members of the Panel of Inquiry into the allegation of sexual harassment against a teacher, Mr. Olaseni Osifala, at the Queen’s College, Yaba, Lagos, are billed to arrive at the college today.

This is even as the panel has sent out invitation letters to the concerned stakeholders such as the school management, the leadership of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), the accused teacher, the blogger who reported the accusation, the leadership of the college’s unit of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria and the old students’ association, among others.
Meanwhile, the invitation meant for the accuser, Mrs. Chinneye Okoye, has been dropped at the office of the PTA at the college. The PTA Chairman, Mrs. Beatrice Akhetuame, confirmed this.
She said the panel forwarded the invitation to the PTA, believing that Okoye was a member of the association. Akhetuame appealed to the individual concerned to come open and pick the letter.
