Suspected abductors have freed 15-year old Rita Chioma Clement, who
was kidnapped two weeks ago while on her way to sit for the Unified
Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Clement reportedly returned to their house on Gboyega Kilo Street at
Ojodu Berger area of Lagos State about 10p.m. on Wednesday. The girl’s
guardian, Mrs. Njideka Orazulike said since her abduction on March 10,
no kidnaper ever called the family or demanded ransom.
According to her, the family embarked on fervent prayers to seek the
face of God, believing that the girl would be freed. She said: “We saw
her coming back around 10p.m. yesterday (Wednesday). My husband has
taken her out since morning.
