Work at EFCC New Head Office Impressive – Reps

Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Hon Kayode Oladele, has expressed satisfaction at the progress of work at the Head Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
“I am really satisfied with the work compared to when my committee visited the site the last time,” he said.

He added that: “My Committee will give every necessary support by the EFCC.” 
Oladele made the assertion during an inspection tour by the committee as part of its oversight function to the site of the permanent head office of the EFCC in Abuja, on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
Other Committee Members in the entourage include Hon. Joseph Ayode, Hon. Danladi Baido , Hon. Jibrin Satumari, Hon Tony Nwoye, Hon Aliyu Sani Madaki, Hon. Nasiru Sani Zangon Daura, Hon Randolph Brown, and Hon Idagbo Ochiglegor.
The committee members, accompanied by Ibrahim Magu, acting EFCC Chairman, and management staff of the agency visited the various facilities at the site including Forensic building, Clinic, Detention and Security facilities, and the Power Generating Unit.
They were led round the facilities at the site by Ibrahim Murtala, an Architect and Consultant with Julius Berger, the Construction Company handling the building of the new head office.
According to him, "the appraisal of the site is very excellent and my members are very happy on what they see on ground."
The construction work, which is almost 89 per cent completed, according to Murtala is expected to be ready by end of March this year.
