Man, 21, hangs self in Laos

Homicide detectives of the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID), Lagos Police Command are investigating the circumstances leading to a young man committing suicide. The deceased, Tope Diya, a teenager, allegedly committed suicide yesterday morning at the Agege area of the state.
Diya allegedly orchestrated his death by using a cloth to hang himself to an aluminum foil at his working place at Olayiwola Street, Oko-Oba.
The reason Diya killed himself is yet unknown, but he was found by his brother Sule Wasiu.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent of Police, said: “"The command is investigating a case of suicide of one Tope Diya of no 5 Ademolu Street, Oko-oba, aged 21 years.
"It was reported by his brother, S. Wasiu that he committed suicide by using a cloth to hang himself to an aluminum frame in his working place at Olayiwola Street Oko-oba.
" He was found dead at about 7am. The command operatives from Oko-oba visited the scene and photographs were taken and the   corpse removed to mortuary for autopsy. Case is still under discreet investigation."
