‘We leave our daughters’ abduction in God’s hands’

The father of two girls, Chikamso and Chinaza Opara, who were abducted by an apprentice hairstylist nine days ago at the Ajegunle area of Lagos State, yesterday said he and his wife had decided to leave the issue in the hands of God.

The apprentice, Rose, abducted the kids from the salon, where their mother is a manager.
Rose applied at the salon as an apprentice but disappeared with the kids four days later. Their father, Mr. Emeka Opara, said nine days after his children’s abduction, nobody had contacted the family. He added: “We have no clue yet to their whereabouts.”
Opara said they had employed all human contacts in order to get back their children, without success. The family, according to him, has now decided to put their fate in the hands of Almighty God, through prayers in churches, by pastors and family members.
