Ezenifite community at Okpuno in Awka South Local Government Area of
Anambra State over the weekend became a Mecca of sort as many residents
of Awka trooped there to behold the bodies of two lovers.
The lovers, a police inspector and an official of the Nigeria
Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), reportedly died of carbon
monoxide from a generator. The name of the inspector, a father of three,
could not be ascertained at press time but the NSCDC official was
identified as Ifeoma Okeke, a mother of five.
The two were found dead on the third floor apartment of the police
officer. According to neighbours, the family of the late inspector lives
in Lagos, while Ifeoma lived with her family in Awka.
It was learnt that Ifeoma had told her husband that she was attending
a church vigil, only to end up in her lover’s house, in the nearby
community. “The woman spent the night with her police lover, but both
did not wake up until a labourer, who was to work for the inspector came
in the morning and discovered their bodies. Upon discovering of the
bodies, the labourer rushed out and alerted neighbours.https://newtelegraphonline.com/generator-fume-kills-inspector-female-nscdc-official-lover/
