Bill Cosby finally speaks on rape allegations

Bill Cosby has addressed the media's response to the resurfaced sexual assault allegations against him.
"Let me say this," the embattled comedian told the New York Post. "I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism, and when you do that, you have to go in with a neutral mind."

The journalist Cosby was speaking to explains in the article that she frequently writes for the African-American media.
In the interview, Cosby also praised Camille, his wife of fifty years.
"Love and the strength of womanhood," he said of how Camille has handled the allegations against him. "Let me say it again, love and the strength of womanhood. And you could reverse it, the strength of womanhood and love."
Cosby then cut the conversation short, explaining, "They don't want me talking to the media."
The Cosby Show star has remained largely silent in the face of mounting abuse claims against him. Last month, he told a Florida paper that he "doesn't have to answer to innuendos."
In addition to numerous allegations, the star is being sued by a woman alleging he assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion in 1975 when she was 15. His lawyer, Marty Singer, has denied the claims and questioned the accusers' credibility.
