Kids kidnapped by maid: Abductors abandon children in front of police station

Abducted children found in front of police station
The children, Raphael and Michael Eschareghara, who were abducted by their housemaid six days after she started working with the family, have been found.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed that the boys had been found. He said: “We can confirm that the two missing children, Michael and Raphael, have been rescued.
As I’m speaking to you now, the children are in custody of Shagamu Police Station. When I get more details on the rescue, I will communicate with you.” Raphael and Michael were abducted by their housemaid, Juliet, 24, on Sunday from their house at 11 Gateway Crescent, Magodo GRA, Isheri, Lagos, while their parents went out for a dinner. According to the parents of the boys, they got Juliet through an agency found on OLX website.
The agency belonged to one Olamide. Since their kidnap, the phones of Juliet and the agency had allegedly remained switched off. The boys are also said to be nephews of the celebrated Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw. Mr. Darlington, a family friend, said the two children were dumped in front of Shagamu Police Station in Ogun State. He said: “We are yet to bring them back to the house because since they were found in another state, we have to do some paper work before picking them back.”
Darlington attributed the rescue to the intervention of God. He also applauded the police for its swift action on the matter. “Probably, they wanted to kill these children having taken them as far as Shagamu.
God is on our side! God heard our prayers. We thank members of the press for their contributions by giving the case massive publicity,” he said. Efforts to speak with the mother of the boys were abortive as her phone was switched off.
