Girl beheaded, armpits shaved

The headless body of a girl has been discovered in an uncompleted building at Magaji area of Iwo community in Osun State. Witnesses said that the girl’s pubic hair had been shaved by the killers. Her armpits were also shaved while there was wound on her body.

Sources said that it was the owner of the house that reported the case to the landlords of the area when he discovered the body. “He immediately alerted the police and since then, we have not heard much on the matter from the police,” a witness said.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs Folasade Odoro, could not be reached for comment. But a top officer, who preferred anonymity, confirmed the story, adding that the police had commenced investigation into the incident.
Also, a resident of the town, who identified himself as Adeyeye Adepoju, called on the people to always be at alert and be security conscious to be able to avert criminal acts in the town.
