A
70-year-old man, Agu Enu, who hails from Aguoguji, Ezzagu of Ishielu
Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, has narrowly escaped death when
he was battered by a palm wine taper, Amaechi Nwite who accused him of
stealing his palm wine.
An eye witness, Nwali Zaachaus said Nwite had sighted Enu in the bush and attacked him, hitting him with wood on the head which floored the old man.
