Nigerian milks 70-year-old internet lover 14,250 euro

 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a Nigerian man for defrauding his 70-year-old internet lady lover to the tune of 14, 250 euro.

The suspected internet fraudster, Sunday Onyena Chidiebere, 27, allegedly defrauded a 70-year-old German, Marie, to the tune of €14,250.
The suspect was arrested by operatives of the Commission in Abuja on March 26, 2015.
The EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said that the suspect, a Promoter and Event Manager based in Abuja was alleged to have met the victim on one of the social media platforms in 2011 and developed a relationship with her.
Uwujaren said: “In the course of the relationship, Chidiebere started making demands for cash from the German for different reasons, especially money for processing Visa to enable him visit her in Germany. The victim, on several occasions, sent money to Chidiebere to meet his demands. After an endless wait, it dawned on the victim that she had been scammed, hence her petition to the EFCC.”
The suspect will soon be arraigned in court.
