The Chairman of Road Transport
Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Alhaji Musa Muhammed, has urged the
Nigeria Police to quickly investigate and arrest those behind the last Oshodi
Crisis, where four people were killed and several others injured.
Muhammed, who said that property
worth millions of naira were destroyed, accused politicians of inciting the
crises that led to blood bath at the Oshodi Market. Muhammad said that the ‘do or die’
ambition of some politicians was responsible for the ugly incident at Oshodi.
He said politicians polarized the
workers union, inducing them with money, thereby factionalizing them, which
resulted into rivalry and rancor.
