Kidnappers of six students from Lagos Model College, Igbonla, Epe
yesterday dropped their arms and embraced the amnesty programme of the
Federal Government brokered by the Ondo State Government.
Some of the weapons submitted by the militants led by Ogailo Iborry
Young aka OC, younger brother of the slain militant leader, Iborry,
included Browning machine gun, Daewoo K3, Colt automatic rifles, General
Purpose Machine Gun (KPMG), Breda 30, Fiat Revelli Modelling, AK47
rifles, rocket launcher, CETME Ameli, Heckler & Koch MG4, Pump
Action, grenades and assault rifles.
Also, military uniforms, police bulletproof vests, dynamites, bombs and
police helmets were submitted to the Deputy Governor of Ondo State,
Agboola Ajayi and the Naval Commander of Forward Operational Base,
Igbokoda, Navy Captain Usman Yahaya.
