CRAN seeks ways to check terrorism in Nigeria



Crime Reporters Association of Nigerian (CRAN), has taken steps in seeking ways on how to check the escalating waves  of terrorism in Nigeria.

These steps will be highlighted on Thursday, November 20, 2014 as part of activities marking the CRAN Annual Lecture. The event will also celebrate outstanding crime fighters, will delve into the subject matter: "Practical Solutions to Terrorism in Nigeria."

According to CRAN President, Comrade Christopher Oji, the event would afford heads of security agencies in the country an opportunity to proffer solutions to the current security challenges, particular the ones posed by insurgents.
The guest lecturer will be Mr. Fola Arthur-Worrey, Executive Secretary, Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), while His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdufatai Oyeyinka Aromire, will be royal father of the day and Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), Governor Lagos State, Special Guest of Honour.

Other dignitaries expected at the occasion are; The Inspector General of Police (IGP),  Suleiman Abba, Umar Abubakar Manko, CRAN Chief Patron & AIG Zone 2,Onikan, Lagos and Chief Host, Mr. Cornelius Kayode Aderanti, Lagos State Commissioner of Police.
