Police Commissioner for Kwara State, Mr Olusola Amore, on Friday
ordered all Area Commanders (ACs) and Divisional Police Officers (DPOs)
under his command to display their telephone numbers conspicuously in
their respective offices as he emphasised the importance of the
community to successful modern policing system.
The
new police boss said the directive was to enhance effective
communication between the police and host communities under their
control just as he equally directed the ACs and DPOs to assemble a group
of eminent personalities in their domain for regular interactions as is
