Police arrest two over monarch’s kidnapping

Two persons have been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command over their involvement in the kidnapping of Oba Abiodun Oyewumi, the traditional ruler of Iyasan in Irele Local Government Area of the state.

The Laragunsi of Iyasan, Oba Oyewumi was kidnapped earlier this month at his palace at Iyasan  by some gunmen numbering 10 who came through the waterways.

He regained freedom after he spent a week in the den of his abductors.

Those arrested were Ewerikuno Meretighan and Dede Ebelo while the police said they were on the trail of other suspects.https://newtelegraphonline.com/police-arrest-two-monarchs-kidnapping/
