Hausa, Yoruba clash: Looters feast on community

Hoodlums are catching in on the attack at White Sand community, Orile Iganmu area of Lagos, to loot property, cash and other valuables belonging to the residents.
 
Thousands of residents have become homeless and lost property estimated to worth millions of naira to looters following the violent clash between Hausa and Yoruba youths in the community on Monday. Looters invaded the community to take advantage of the fleeing residents to steal their property and goods.
When our correspondent visited the community yesterday, there were rubble of shops and other structures destroyed during the clash. Some of the residents, who sneaked into the now deserted community, were afraid while recounting their ordeal.
At least, three persons were killed during the clash on Monday, when Yoruba youths in Badia and Iganmu went on a reprisal attack against the Hausa who were accused of causing a breach of the peace in the area.https://newtelegraphonline.com/hausa-yoruba-clash-looters-feast-community/
