Bus kills twin sisters trekking to school in Ogun

Tragedy struck Friday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, when a commercial vehicle crushed twin sisters to death on their way to school.

The victims, Khadijat and Mutmainat Edunjobi‎, were knocked down at Ita Oshin area of Abeokuta about 8:00am, alongside their elder brother, Toni.

‎New Telegraph learnt that the ill-fated bus, a Toyota vehicle, with registration number Lagos KTU 175 DZ, lost control while approaching Ita Oshin from the Sango end of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

The SUV ran over the twins, killing them ‎instantly, and injuring their brother.
