Eight persons including three students of the Ondo State-owned Rufus
Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), have been arrested for alleged robbery
and cultrelated activities.
In possession of the suspects were dangerous
weapons such as guns, knives and axes, among others.
The arrested students of the polytechnic are Akinboun Blessing (21)
ND II, Department of Public Administration, Fasanu Tolulope (24), ND II,
Department of Business Administration and Alabi Oluwaseun (26) ND, PT
III, Department of Business Administration. Security sources said Fasanu
confessed that he was initiated into secret cult in 2013 by one
Temitope Adeyeye and others.
