The bodies of five children were found in an unused deep freezer in a
rural South African town on Wednesday in what the police suspect was
tragic end to a game they were playing.
The children, aged between three and seven, were found by their
grandmother in a rural agricultural town of Kakamas in the Northern Cape
Province, police said.
“We do not suspect any foul play at this stage. It is believed the
kids were playing when the deep freezer accidentally locked,” Reuters
quotes police spokeswoman, Dimakatso Mooi.
