An engineer, Gibson Onyeka charged with causing the death of 40
fowls, valued at N144,000 was on Monday arraigned at an Ikeja
Magistrates’ Court.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Onyeka, 34, residing at
No. 1, Babatunde Hassan St., Ishaga , Lagos, is being tried for causing
damage and killing of animals.
According to the Prosecutor, Insp. Akeem Raji, the accused caused the
death of the fowls, owned by one Olarenwaju Oladuja, sometime in
October 2015 at Iju-Ishaga, Lagos.
“The accused was in charge of renovating the building of the complainant’s neighbour.
