Three suspected fraudsters, who allegedly defrauded their victim of
N5 million at a shrine at Meesan Ota, Ogun State are now in police
custody.
The police also recovered a locally-made gun, figurines, charms and police camouflage cap from them.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Olumuyiwa Adejobi,
who confirmed the arrest in a statement issued in Abeokuta yesterday,
said the suspects included two males, Deji and Tunde Dudu, and a female
identified as Charity Ebele.
Adejobi explained that the suspects defrauded one Mr Agboola of Humba
village, Abuja of various sums culminating in N5 million between
September and December 2015.
