The Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team (SIRT) has finally arrested the elusive coordinator of the Lekki, Ikorodu, Festac and Agbarra bank robberies that Nigerians will never forget in a hurry.

The coordinator, Clement Abanara, 42, otherwise known as Millions has been organizing robberies and kidnapping operations for over 20 years.
According to detectives, he is the brain behind most of the high bank robberies and high profile kidnapping in Lagos and Ogun States.
He was arrested on Thursday in Asayande Estate Benin City by SIRT.
All the suspects, arrested in connection with the different bank robberies in Lagos and Ogun states, fingered Millions. But he had remained elusive for months, evading police arrest.
Detectives attached to the SIRT were however undeterred as they continued to hunt him until last Thursday.
Millions has been described by many eye witnesses as a ‘female ‘member of the gang. He used to braid his hair and is said to be skinny. During operations, he used to lead the gang and usually wears gun belts.
He was arrested after detectives who had been tracking him, first located his wife in Warri, Delta State.
The wife led the police team to his new house in Benin City.
A police source said: “He is the most experienced person among the bank robbers and the coordinator of the Lekki, Ikorodu, Festac and Agbarra bank robberies. He dresses as a woman during all the bank robberies. Millions was also the leader of a kidnapping gang that kidnapped a Lagos State House of Assembly member and many other prominent citizens in Lagos two years ago.”
The source said that Millions and his gang’s modus operandi were to come from Delta State into Lagos State through water.
They would anchor in Akodo or Ikorodu axis, and then kidnap their victims in Lagos. After they had kidnapped a victim, they would move back through water to their camp in Delta State and there after family members would go and pay ransom in Delta State before victims were released to them in Warri.
“The IGP’s SIRT arrested four of Millions boys in 2013 and stormed his house in Warri, but he had fled. They offered the IG’s team N10m, but they refused. They wanted the team to charge them to court through a senior police officer, but the team turned down the offer,” said the source.
The source added said that it was probably the highly uncompromising posture and action of the SIRT’s that deterred Millions and his men from coming to Lagos through water, to continue his kidnapping spree of innocent citizens.  The police have also discovered that last year, Millions teamed up with one OSSY and TK to fine tune bank robberies in Lagos and Ogun states.
Operatives of SIRT, a day after Christmas, were deployed to Port Harcourt still on the hunt of the bank robbers.
A key member of the Festac and Agbarra bank robberies was arrested.
The name of the suspect is Dennis Njiku, 30.
It was gathered that Njiku has allegedly confessed to participating in Both Festac and Agbarra bank robberies.
Njiku further reportedly said: “We got N110m in Festac bank robbery. I got N2.5m as my share. I got N 1.2m as my share in the Agbara bank robbery.”
The police said that the suspect was assisting the SIRT operatives in tracing other fleeing members within Port Harcourt and Warri Delta State.
