*Thanks the Police for age-long collaborative relationship
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Group Managing Director, Dr. Joseph Dawah along with two Group Executive Directors paid an official visit to the Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Suleiman Abba, NPM, NPOM, mni at the Force Headquarters, Abuja to congratulate him on his new appointment.
The Group Managing Director thanked the NPF for maintaining the age-long collaborative relationship that has existed between the Police and the NNPC.
While noting that peace and security are essential ingredients for socio-economic growth and prosperity of any nation, Dr. Dawah sought for more assistance and supports from the Police especially in the areas of pipeline security, theft of crude oil and refined products as well as executive protection for the top management staff of the NNPC.
Responding, the IGP expressed his appreciation to the Group Managing Director of the NNPC for the visit and reassured him that the Police will continue to give maximum protection to the oil facilities and the NNPC personnel as well as exploring modern techniques of surveillance in protecting critical National infrastructure.
