NSCDC promotes 152 hard working officers

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Lagos State Command yesterday promoted 152 of its officers.

Authourities of NSCDC made this announcement at it’s at Alausa office, Ikeja. Most of them were promoted to ranks of senior officers. The promoted officers were decorated with their new ranks yesterday.
Those promoted are from the ranks of Assistant Deputy Commandant (ADC) and Chief Superintendent (CS).

The Assistant Commandant General, Lagos, Mr. Lugard Osaro said that the idea was to appreciate the effort of officers who had not relent in their duties.
Osaro said: "Destiny as they say can only be delayed, but not denied. This kind of occasion is the first of its kind since the inception of NSCDC. The officers will now be motivated to work, dedicate and commit more of their hearts to their works. Their good works was the basis of their promotion.”
He urged officers aiming for such an opportunity, not to be discouraged, but to focus on their duties and believe God who gives promotion.
Director of Special Service office of Chief of Staff Lagos State, Mrs. Akinsemoye Titus, congratulated the newly promoted officers. She advised that they should put in more effort in other to meet the task ahead of them.
She added: “To whom much is given, much is also expected.”
 The NDCSC Commandant, Lagos, Mr. Gabriel Abaffi said that the reward for hard work, was promotion.
His words: “Since the government has supported the initiative, they should also back it up with other good incentives so that both the society and individuals with others aiming for opportunity as this will be encouraged to do more in their various fields of endeavor.”
Barrister Kemi Onilede, who was promoted to the post of Deputy Commandant, expressed her gratitude to God, adding: “I’ve waited five years for this time and finally it has come! I’m not the best of all, but God has chosen me for the post."
