Abductors waited two hours behind school fence before striking

* Victim: They said our school has no security
*Adults victims blindfolded

One of the eight females, kidnapped from the Turkish International College, Isheri, Ogun State, has revealed how the abductors  mocked the school’s security system.

According to the victim, the kidnappers told them that relaxed and waited for over two hours behind the school fence, before striking.
The kidnappers felt that was enough time for any good security system to have detected their presence. But nobody did.
The victim, who does not wished to be mentioned, said that adults among them were blindfolded for reasons unknown.
The victim also said: “There were shanties in the creek. They moved us from room to room. People came in canoes to supply Indian hemp and bags of sachets water. The kidnappers have a common name. They call one another, Awuah.”
Recalling the event of the fateful night of January 13, when they were abducted, the victim said they were all moved from the female hostel into the bush path behind the school. This was the same path the gunmen used in infiltrating the school.
They were all bundled into boats and seemed to spend hours on the waters, before reaching farther into the creek.
She said they were fed bread, rice and sachets of water. Children were fed regularly, but adults just twice a day.
She added: “They laughed and told us that the security in our school was not tight. They said they had been at the back of school fence for over two hours before they struck.”
