Stepfather, uncle kill man over missing N90,000

A 20-year-old man, Mr. Ridwan Adeleke, has been reportedly tortured to death by his stepfather and uncle for allegedly stealing his mother’s N90,000.

The incident occurred at Oriola community, Ibafo in Ofada-Mokolokin Local Council Development Area of Ogun State.
It was learnt that Adeleke’s mother went to the market on Friday, but on returning home, she discovered that her money was missing from where she kept it.
The only person she suspected was her son. Residents told our correspondent that instead of enquiring from her son about the missing money, the woman reported the issue to her brother, Mr. Kayode Ajijola, and her husband, who is Adeleke’s stepfather.
The following day, the two men searched the whole of Oriola community for Adeleke with the intention of retrieving the money from him.
They later saw him in a bakery where he was working to complement his tailoring job. They reportedly pounced on him and beat him till he became unconscious.
