Members of the Crime Reporters' Association of Nigeria
(CRAN) have commiserated with the widow and family members of The Nation’s
Crime reporter, Mr. Jude Isiguzo, over his sudden demise.
The chairman
of CRAN, Christopher Oji, said that the association received with shock the
death of Isiguzo, who was also a former General Secretary of the association. Isiguzo
passed on after a brief illness on November 29.
Oji added: “Isiguzo, during his life time was an
active member of the association who contributed immensely to the growth of
journalism profession, especially in crime reporting. He was a prolific writer
and trained investigative journalist per excellence. He was a jolly good fellow
every CRAN member and security personnel, especially the police will not forget
in a hurry.
We pray that God almighty will grant the family, friends and relations the fortitude to bear the irreparable lose. We love him but God loves him better.”
Oji noted that Isiguzo’s Wake keep on December, 11 at his resident: 311 Road, A Close, Block 3, Flat 8, Festac Town, Lagos. Wake keep and interment on December 20 and 21 in his home town in Abia State.
