This came as the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) is yet to comment on the incident, despite the promise to inform the public about the outcome of the search and rescue operation.
Four persons were rescued when a boat conveying 11 passengers capsized in Badagry area of Lagos, leaving yetto- be ascertained number of passengers drowned. The tragic incident was the third time in three weeks that boat would capsize on Lagos waterways.
