Police in Ondo State have arrested a middle-aged man for killing his friend, identified as Moses Alugo, for allegedly sleeping with his wife.

The suspect is in the custody of the Criminal Department for Investigation and Intelligence (CDII). It was gathered that some villagers at Akinpelu camp, Ode-Aye, buried Alugo’s body before the information got to the police.
This came as gunmen suspected to be cult members shot into a residence in Owo in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State and in the process killed a 23-year-old man, Sidikat Suleiman.
Suleiman’s 82-year-old mother also sustained gunshot wounds. A police source in Owo disclosed that the suspected cultists, who rode on a motorcycle, shot into the residence of the victims and sped off.
